I have 410 pictures on my camera now and all I need to do is to upload it to my Mac.
But Fridays being Fridays I have been denied the opportunity to do so, thus resulting in a very frustrated person, not to mention my darned SHIFT key managed to somehow pop out of my laptop keyboard.
How, world? Does anyone know why on earth a 450D would be disconnecting halfway through transfer? D:<

What has happened?
Using this to push down the previous entry because it kept flashing my old avatar and it's annoying.
Ta's been almost 6 years since I've joined dA, 7 since I've discovered it. Hoo.
I realise that unlike many of the artsy people I know who criticise dA for being a shallow, somewhat horrid place for "art", I've stuck to my guns and continued to lurk here. Perhaps it has something to do with personal beliefs about what art is, and what art constitutes. Did I just repeat myself?

I realised how stale the journal parts of my account have become.
Now that I'm taking 'A' Level Art, I'm obliged to study the History of Art. It is interesting: it opens you to so much that has occurred before you, and it helps you understand the significance of today's artworks, especially in an Asian society with little or no exposure to Western art and paintings of the past.
Right now I'm trying to remember everything of 20th Century art, but just reading about the artists and trying to understand their methods of conveyance and everything that their artworks tried to encompass really overwhelms the senses. It makes everything else seem

I don't understand how I have been doing this for three + years.
People in this community are usually Photoshop painters. I somehow think that requires very much less RAM than Graphic Design (I don't know. It's an assumption I made, so gomen-nasai to those who are the exception, or if this isn't even the rule.) but I would think 1GB RAM would cut it for Photoshop Painting.
But it's TERRIBLE.
Graphic Design with 1GB RAM: changing DPI settings in itself costs 5 minutes, applying filters and previews 10 minutes, resizing, cropping, erasing...

If you don't mind my asking, how do you find the 450D? I'm considering getting one, so any opinion/points to consider would be very helpful!
